Catchr recently crossed 50,000 downloads on Gplay making it India’s no.1 Content & E-commerce A.I based selective discovery platform. The platform at present has 10k Monthly Active Users on a MoM basis since it was launched in late April. The platform also has partnerships with players like Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon, Nearbuy etc. in addition to showing interest based and localized content and commerce to its users in its own custom mobile browser. The users can book rides, bus, flights, order food and do many more with Catchr.
The app has been regularly trending on Traction and Gplay since its launch and the team has been approached by top-end Venture Capitalists due to the same.
Naman Sharma, CEO & Co-Founder (Ex-University of Melbourne & KPMG), said “We are happy the app has been received so well. The Idea behind Catchr is to help Indian users save data & time by making a neural net of the things users do most on the internet. So far the feedback has been encouraging but we have a long way to go and we are building amazing things such as Augmented Reality for our set of functionality offerings”.
Rupesh Kumar, CTO & Co-Founder (Ex-Microsoft), added “We have been able to build proprietary technology driven on algorithms, traffic ranks and user experiences. We have tried our level best to take out noise from the current content and commerce discovery so that users see only well-endorsed and neutral information. We want Catchr to be used by every Indian for its merits”.
Anshuman Chaturvedi, Investment Banker and supporter informed that the “Catchr will soon raise funds to further build on its technology/functionalities and grow its audience. Catchr can be downloaded on Gplay right now and the team shall be going on iOS later this month. At present, Catchr is a team of 10 including 2 other Co-Founders (Sachin Sharma & Ashish Kumar) and they plan to keep their operations lean and low cost with a vision to solve primary problems of users.”
